Law Enforcement in Dubai recently unveiled the first official Police Robot. The robot comes with a touch screen for people to report crime, pay tickets and request further assistance from police. The robot stands at roughly 5’6″ and weighs 220 pounds.

The current duty of a police robot is to assist people in the streets and in shopping malls. The camera on the robot itself allows for the police to monitor activity 24/7.

While Police in Dubai do not intend for these robots to completely rid of human police presence, they are aiming to expand their force to 25% robots.
