Gateway School District’s school board voted to purchase Axon Tasers for their police force to have on campus. The seven tasers will cost around $9,000.

The Pittsburgh Post Gazette stated, “One taser will be allocated for each of the district’s schools and it will be up to district police chief Bryan Key on which officers will carry them”.

School board member Rick McIntyre said, “the plan is to equip all officers [with tasers]”.
