Troops now have another non-lethal option to add to their list, a pistol-sized launcher. This launcher fires paintball-like ammunition that contains irritants to aide in crowd control and deter behaviors without injury.

According to The Army Times, “Some of the company’s products are in use by the Coast Guard, Border Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Prisons, according to a company release.

This provides further evidence that non-lethal weapons are helpful after all.
